On behalf of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wyoming and the BLM's Office of Civil Rights, thank you for the presentation you made to our employees, commemorating Black History Month. Your stories and experiences playing for the Negro Baseball League illustrated the culture and people that we could not have gained in any other way.

Thank you so much for the time Dennis gave us this morning at our UWM Osher meeting. Our group really, really enjoyed it! I’ll be making a donation on your website as part of our thank you. As a group, we also want to help with the efforts to get the remaining Negro League players some sort of pension from MLB. Who would be the best person or group for us to send our letters and emails to? Anything more you would suggest we could do to help?

I want to start off with the biggest and most sincere thank you for such an amazing presentation yesterday! The boys took so much away from that conversation and we have had so much great feedback! We are going to be posting the "The Art of the Game" challenge in our classrooms today.

Students really like this project and had fun finding African Americans they didn't know or who inspired them in one way or another. At conferences this week one parent told me their son insisted on going to Mayfair to see your store. It was closed but he posed in front of it and had his picture taken. It makes me so excited when a speaker can inspire learning the way Dennis did in my students. We had a great time listening to him, researching different African Americans and learning about people and events that we didn't know as much about as we wanted

NPC freshman baseball pitcher Andy Roberts grew up around baseball and played for as long as he remembers. He said the main thing he took away from the experience was, “No matter how long you’ve played, the game is always with you.” Roberts said listening to Biddle helped him realize, “It’s not always about baseball. The things that you do on a day-to-day basis shape who you become, shape the people around you, and also that the people around you can shape who you are.”

Dennis and Patrice: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! It was wonderful speaking to you and learning from you today! Thanks for all of the time you gave to the students… and my wife.

Mr.Biddle, I wanted to thank you for speaking with my sports and entertainment business class last week. The stories, memories, and lessons you told us about were amazing. It was great to learn so much about the negro leagues and how much of its treasured history will never be told. Thank you, I truly appreciated it.
